I've always had a love affair with the camera. I can remember being infatuated with photography since a very young age. Amongst my friends, from elementary school on, I was always known as the friend in the group with the camera. Oh yes...I ROCKED my pink and purple "Le Clic" camera with a total attitude back in the day. After some high school and college photography courses, I eventually ended up married and having babies. My son was the focus of my lens 24/7 after having him. By the time my daughter was born 4 years later, the film era was slowly dying and the digital era had formed. Aside from my photography business, I also design children's clothing and women's jewelry. So...while selling my product line, I quickly tired of having to pay a professional photographer to capture great images of my products when I had already studied photography myself many times throughout my life. Thus, how Angie Seaman Photography was born. I buckled down and threw myself into every workshop I could sign up for and took every photography class I could get my hands on. All of it was done in an effort to conquer the digital phenomenon and hone in on my photography skills to the best of my ability. Now, instead of just owning the "designer" title, I proudly own the "photographer" title as well. My knack creatively is of the arts. Sewing, designing, beading, photography, etc.

Several words that sum up what my clients repeatedly tell me that I'm known for regarding my photography style is color, an artsy/edgy feel, funky fun, as well as crisp, fresh, and unique images. If I had to sum up my own photography style in just one word, I too, would use the word "colorful." Color is truly one of my passions not only in my photography and design work but also in my everyday life. I seek out color like a child seeks out laughter and fun. Color could definitely be labeled as a HUGE part of what defines me as a person and a professional. Color excites me and makes my heart swoon like a school girl discovering her first crush.

When I'm not photographing someone/something or designing my next line of clothing or jewelry, you can find me vegging out with my family. We love to spend our weekends sugaring our toes in the sand on the beach together or exploring new and fun places with one another. I've been married for almost 17 years to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful blessings from God. With that said, we also have a new little "surprise" bundle of joy on the way (another baby boy due to arrive 12/2/10). I've been given the gift of a handsome 11 year old son who ROCKS my socks off in everything he does and a gorgeous 7 year old daughter with special needs whom makes me want to try harder in life every second of every day. The two of them are my oxygen within this world. I'm so grateful for the both of them as well as our third child who is set to make his debut in just a few short weeks. I'm constantly amazed at God's unexpected blessings in my life and our new 'baby to be' is no exception. To say I'm humbled by the many gifts God gives me which I don't deserve, yet he still bestows to me anyway, is a massive understatement.

A born and raised Indiana Hoosier, I now reside with my family in Naples, Florida. I shoot all across the country but spend the majority of my time shooting in Naples as well as my home state of Indiana when my schedule finds me back there. I still have tons of family in Indiana and try to get back there every few months. Although I'm a beach girl through and through, it's Indiana that owns my heart.
